This Return Policy explains how to exercise statutory rights and any commercial return options for Purevitala purchased through our Website. It complements our Terms of Service and does not replace mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence within the European Union or European Economic Area.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to consumers as defined in EU consumer law. Business purchasers are governed by separate contractual terms where applicable.
2. Right of withdrawal (cooling-off)
If you are entitled to withdraw from a distance contract, you have fourteen days from the day you acquire physical possession of the goods without giving a reason. To meet the deadline, send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the fourteen-day period has expired.

Exceptions for sealed food supplements: The right of withdrawal may not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they were unsealed after delivery. Opening a food supplement bottle may therefore exclude withdrawal under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. If the seal remains intact and the product can be resold safely, different rules may apply; contact us for assessment.
3. Effects of withdrawal
If withdrawal is effective, we reimburse all payments received, including delivery costs at the standard rate, without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. We use the same payment instrument unless you expressly agree otherwise. You bear the direct cost of returning goods unless we state otherwise or we failed to disclose that cost.
4. Return shipment instructions
Unless we provide a prepaid label, send returns to the address we specify in our return authorisation email. Use outer packaging that protects the product. Include your name, order reference, and whether you seek withdrawal or a conformity remedy. We recommend tracked shipping; risk remains with you until we receive the goods.
5. Defective or non-conforming products
If goods are defective or not as described, statutory conformity rules apply independently of the right of withdrawal. Notify us promptly after discovery. We may request reasonable evidence. Remedies may include repair, replacement, an appropriate price reduction, or contract termination with refund, following the hierarchy required by applicable law.
6. Damaged in transit
If the parcel arrives damaged, photograph the outer box and the affected items and contact us within forty-eight hours of delivery where possible. We will cooperate with carriers and arrange an appropriate solution.
7. Refund timing
Approved refunds are initiated within fourteen days of receiving and inspecting returns or evidence of return, unless we reasonably need additional time to verify compliance with this Policy or statutory conditions.
8. Finland and other EU markets
We market Purevitala to customers in Finland and other Member States. Local mandatory rights remain fully applicable. Finnish-speaking consumers may contact us in English; we may provide machine-assisted Finnish summaries upon request where feasible, without replacing the legal English version of our policies unless required.

10. Statutory remedies and national bodies
Nothing in this Policy limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under applicable national law implementing EU directives on consumer sales and unfair contract terms. Finnish consumers may contact the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority or local consumer advisory services for general guidance. Irish consumers may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. You may also use the European Consumer Centre network for cross-border purchases.
